Why choose a Nurse Practitioner over a Registered Nurse?

  • Able to order as well as interpret laboratory and radiologic testing. RNs cannot interpret the values and implement the standards of care based on the findings

  • Nurse Practitioners are held to the full scope of their practice- assessing, diagnosing and treating their patients

  • Nurse Practitioners can provide what attorneys need most- medical record review, opinion statements as well as expert witness having practiced to level expected of both an RN and physician
